After a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this past weekend Portugal Realty returned to one of the UK’s most important overseas property shows, A Place in the Sun Live, which took place at London Olympia. And what an experience it was!
In a stand much bigger than in past editions, Portugal Realty’s sales team included Dylan Herholdt, their Sales Director based in the Silver Coast, and Bruno Valentim, who had the wonderful privilege to meet with UK buyers looking for a home in Portugal!
This edition was also an opportunity for visitors to Portugal Realty’s stand to meet several Simple Life Home Pack specialists, who were present to answer their questions and share insider tips about investing and moving to Portugal.
Among the many visitors to their stand, three very special guests also participated in live interviews included in a special episode of ‘Portugal The Simple Life Podcast', hosted by Dylan. In this podcast, Liz Rowlinson a journalist and editor at Place In The Sun, Matthew Krystman from Blevins Franks and the incredibly popular Jasmine Harman, presenter of the Channel 4 series ‘A Place In The Sun’, share their experiences with Portugal and how exciting it was to be back at the exhibition.

Live Seminar - Is Portugal still an option after Brexit?
Dylan also participated in the live seminar "Portugal Property - for a holiday home or relocation”, at The Hub, where several property specialists talked about the benefits of Portugal.
During the three days of the show, visitors placed several questions about buying property in Portugal, especially regarding the changes resulting from Brexit and what options are available. Namely residency visas for British citizens, fiscal incentives and what public services British expats still have access to.
As a specialist on the Silver Coast, Dylan also shared what this “undiscovered” region has to offer, in comparison to other property hotspots such as the Algarve, which is normally the first place British buyers think of when they start their property journey in Portugal.
